I have worked in television as a Producer/Director for many years, first for the BBC and then as a successful freelancer. I’ve always been passionate about food, cooking and eating and sharing my passion with friends and family has been central to my life ever since I can remember.

Over the years I got to cook in professional kitchens and although I really enjoyed my time there and learned loads about preparing, cooking and presenting food, I realised pretty quickly that the gruelling work and long hours were not for me.

So why puddings?  I’ve always had a bit of a weakness for desserts – my late mother was born in Berlin and came to England as a refugee.  She was a superb baker and dessert maker. Spending time together in the kitchen, I was her sous chef and it was from her that my love of cooking sprung.

More and more friends started to ask me to bring my fabulous desserts along to their dinner parties and it went on from there.  I enjoy teaching and want to pass on my cooking skills so that more people will be able to create wonderful puddings under my expert guidance.
