Cookery Classes

I offer small intimate classes where we concentrate on making impressive and delicious desserts that you will want to repeat time and time again!!

I use only the finest ingredients sourced from specialist suppliers to make fabulous desserts – from classic puddings, cakes, tarts and flans to sorbets and mousses.

My classes range from two hours sessions to whole day workshops and take place in my home in Queens Park, London NW6.

Practical classes last approx two hours and cost £60 per person.

The cost includes all ingredients, light refreshments and a goody bag containing your  desserts and recipe sheets.  During the class you’ll pick up culinary tips and presentation ideas as well as invaluable information about baking equipment and ingredients used on the day.

Book individually, as a couple or a group.  I also offer private parties or team awaydays.  Just give me a call to discuss your requirements.

The maximum number of people in a class is four.

In my classes you’ll learn how to make fabulous desserts from light, refreshing and fruity to creamy, chocolaty sheer indulgence – making the most of fresh and seasonal produce.  My approach to teaching is relaxed, informal and fun, helping to build your confidence and demystify the preparation of delicious desserts.

At the end of each class, I invite you to put your feet up and enjoy  a cup of freshly brewed coffee or loose-leaf tea and of course, sample the desserts you’ve just prepared.

Scheduled classes take place on Sat afternoon at my home in Queens Park, NW London.  Other days can be booked by arrangement to suit you.  If you are interested in booking a class please do call me on 07939 115 311 or email me at:

From time to time, I will be demonstrating different aspects of dessert making: covering topics such as the art of pastry or mastering sugar glazing for a crème brûlée.  I can accommodate up to 10 people and a minimum of 6 people would make it viable.  The cost of these sessions would be £40 per person.

If there is a particular pudding that you would love to master or you just fancy expanding your repertoire, I also offer one to one coaching – cooking alongside you in your own home with your own utensils.  I make an extra charge for home lessons to cover my transport/carriage costs.  The cost: £80  for a two and a half hour lesson.

    Hi there,

A small group of us are really interested in doing a private class on classic puddings and cakes. We’d prefer to do a week day evening then a weekend and we would be looking at betwee 4-8 people depending on timings and your capacity.

    Could you let us know:
    a) What sort of classes you could do on classic puddings/cakes
    b) When you would have availability in Sept/Oct (I think too many people will be away in August)
    c) If we book before the end of August for a class later on in the year does your offer still stand?
    d) what is the maximum capacity for the group

Many thanks and looking forward to hearing from you,
